संसदि व्रीडयाऽश्रुत्य आर्थिभ्यः प्रददाति च । प्रतिदीयते च यद्दानं व्रीडादानमिति श्रुतम्
saṃsadi vrīḍayā'śrutya ārthibhyaḥ pradadāti ca | pratidīyate ca yaddānaṃ vrīḍādānamiti śrutam
സഭയിൽ ലജ്ജയാലും അപവാദഭയത്താലും അപേക്ഷകരെ ദാനം നൽകുകയും, അതിന് പകരം പ്രതിദാനം കൂടി കൈമാറ്റം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ദാനം ‘വ്രീഡാദാനം’ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധം।
