iti vaidhātravyavasthitiḥ | śrīnārada uvāca | ṛṣabhonāma yannāmnā nānāpāṣaṃḍa kalpanāḥ | kalau pārtha bhaviṣyaṃti lokānāṃ mohanātmikāḥ
Śrī Nārada
Listener: Pārtha (Arjuna)
Scene: Nārada, radiant and sternly compassionate, addresses Pārtha about Kali-yuga: shadowy figures representing fabricated sects emerge behind a banner reading ‘Ṛṣabha’, while a luminous ‘Vaidhātra ordinance’ scroll remains steady in Nārada’s hand.
In Kali-yuga, discernment (viveka) is essential; dharma must be guarded against delusive, fabricated teachings.
No tīrtha is specified; the verse is a Kali-yuga warning within the Purāṇic discourse.
No explicit ritual is prescribed; the emphasis is on recognizing and avoiding pāṣaṇḍa (delusive sectarian fabrications).
