वर्षेण चैव देवानां मतः सप्तर्षिवासरः । सप्तर्षीणां च वर्षेण ध्रौवश्च दिवसः स्मृतः
varṣeṇa caiva devānāṃ mataḥ saptarṣivāsaraḥ | saptarṣīṇāṃ ca varṣeṇa dhrauvaśca divasaḥ smṛtaḥ
ദേവന്മാരുടെ വർഷമാനപ്രകാരം സപ്തർഷികളുടെ ‘ദിവസം’ എന്നു കരുതപ്പെടുന്നു. സപ്തർഷികളുടെ വർഷമാനപ്രകാരം ധ്രുവന്റെ ‘ദിവസം’ എന്നും സ്മരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
