अस्यामेव तिथौ सोमः शिवयोगश्च तैतिलम् । षड्योगः शक्तिच्छिद्रेयो दिनं रुद्रं जपन्निशि । स्नात्वात्र सशरीरो वै रुद्रलोकं व्रजीष्यति
asyāmeva tithau somaḥ śivayogaśca taitilam | ṣaḍyogaḥ śakticchidreyo dinaṃ rudraṃ japanniśi | snātvātra saśarīro vai rudralokaṃ vrajīṣyati
ഈ തിഥിയിലേ, സോമനും ശിവയോഗവും ഒന്നിക്കുന്നപ്പോൾ, എള്ള്വ്രതം മംഗളം; ശക്തിച്ഛിദ്രത്തിൽ ഷഡ്യോഗം വരുന്ന ദിവസം പകൽ രുദ്രജപം ചെയ്ത്, രാത്രി പൂജ ചെയ്ത്, ഇവിടെ സ്നാനം ചെയ്താൽ അവൻ ദേഹസഹിതം രുദ്രലോകം പ്രാപിക്കും।
