अल्पाक्षरो न मंत्रः किं सस्फुरो दैत्य दृश्यते । एवमुक्त्वा दैत्यमुक्तं गृहीत्वा कंदुकं च तम्
alpākṣaro na maṃtraḥ kiṃ sasphuro daitya dṛśyate | evamuktvā daityamuktaṃ gṛhītvā kaṃdukaṃ ca tam
‘ഇത്ര കുറച്ച് അക്ഷരങ്ങളുള്ള മന്ത്രമോ ഇത്? ദൈത്യൻ എന്തിന് വിറയ്ക്കുന്നു?’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ്, ദൈത്യൻ വിട്ട ആയുധം ഒരു പന്തുപോലെ പിടിച്ചു.
