ततः पुनः स्कंदमाह प्रहृष्टः केशवोऽरिहा । स्कंदस्कंद महाबाहो बाणोनाम बलात्मजः
tataḥ punaḥ skaṃdamāha prahṛṣṭaḥ keśavo'rihā | skaṃdaskaṃda mahābāho bāṇonāma balātmajaḥ
അപ്പോൾ ശത്രുഹന്താവായ കേശവൻ ആനന്ദത്തോടെ വീണ്ടും സ്കന്ദനോട് പറഞ്ഞു— “സ്കന്ദാ, സ്കന്ദാ, ഹേ മഹാബാഹോ! ‘ബാണ’ എന്നൊരു (ദൈത്യൻ) ഉണ്ട്; അവൻ ബലന്റെ പുത്രൻ.”
