सुरेषु सर्वेषु वसामि चाहं विप्रेषु शास्त्रार्थरतेषु चाहम् । साध्वीषु नारीषु तथा वसामि विना गुणान्नास्मि वसामि कुत्रचित्
sureṣu sarveṣu vasāmi cāhaṃ vipreṣu śāstrārtharateṣu cāham | sādhvīṣu nārīṣu tathā vasāmi vinā guṇānnāsmi vasāmi kutracit
ഞാൻ എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരിലും വസിക്കുന്നു; ശാസ്ത്രാർത്ഥത്തിൽ നിരതരായ ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാരിലും എന്റെ വാസമുണ്ട്. അതുപോലെ സദ്ഗുണസമ്പന്നയായ സ്ത്രീകളിലും ഞാൻ പാർക്കും; എന്നാൽ ഗുണമില്ലാത്തിടത്ത് ഞാൻ എവിടെയും വസിക്കുകയില്ല.
