किं न श्रुतः पुरा गीतः श्लोकः स्वायंभुवेन यः । यथा बालेषु निक्षिप्ताः स्त्रीषु षंडितकेषु च । अपस्मारीषु चैवापि सर्वे ते संशयं गताः
kiṃ na śrutaḥ purā gītaḥ ślokaḥ svāyaṃbhuvena yaḥ | yathā bāleṣu nikṣiptāḥ strīṣu ṣaṃḍitakeṣu ca | apasmārīṣu caivāpi sarve te saṃśayaṃ gatāḥ
സ്വായംഭുവൻ (മനു) മുമ്പ് പാടിയ ആ ശ്ലോകം നിങ്ങൾ കേട്ടിട്ടില്ലേ—‘കാര്യങ്ങൾ ബാലന്മാർക്കും സ്ത്രീകൾക്കും ഷണ്ഡന്മാർക്കും അപസ്മാരബാധിതർക്കും ഏൽപ്പിച്ചാൽ എല്ലാവരും സംശയത്തിലും ആശയക്കുഴപ്പത്തിലും വീഴും’ എന്ന്।
