पुत्रेत्युवाच तं देवी ततः संहृष्टमानसा । एतस्मिन्नंतरे शर्वस्तत्रागत्य वचोऽब्रवीत्
putretyuvāca taṃ devī tataḥ saṃhṛṣṭamānasā | etasminnaṃtare śarvastatrāgatya vaco'bravīt
പിന്നീട് ഹർഷിതമനസ്സോടെ ദേവി അവനെ ‘പുത്രാ’ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു. അതേ സമയത്ത് ശർവൻ അവിടെ എത്തി ഈ വചനങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു.
