एवं संकल्प्य तं पुत्रं लालयित्वा उमाचिरम् । उवाच पुत्र क्रीडेति गच्छ सार्धं गणैरिति

Transliteration

evaṃ saṃkalpya taṃ putraṃ lālayitvā umāciram | uvāca putra krīḍeti gaccha sārdhaṃ gaṇairiti

Translation

ഇങ്ങനെ അവനെ പുത്രനായി അംഗീകരിച്ച് ഉമ ദീർഘനേരം സ്നേഹത്തോടെ ലാളിച്ചു. പിന്നെ പറഞ്ഞു—“മകനേ, കളിക്ക; ഗണങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം പോകുക.”
