दशकूपसमावापी दशवापी समं सरः । दशसरःसमा कन्या दशकन्यासमः क्रतुः

daśakūpasamāvāpī daśavāpī samaṃ saraḥ | daśasaraḥsamā kanyā daśakanyāsamaḥ kratuḥ

ഒരു വാപി (പടിക്കിണർ) പത്ത് കിണറുകൾക്ക് തുല്യം; ഒരു സരോവർ പത്ത് വാപികൾക്ക് തുല്യം; ഒരു കന്യാദാനം പത്ത് സരോവരങ്ങൾക്ക് തുല്യം; ഒരു ക്രതു (യജ്ഞം) പത്ത് കന്യാദാനങ്ങൾക്ക് തുല്യം।
