निवृत्तश्च क्षणाद्भूयः किं वक्ष्यति हरस्त्विति । ततो विमृश्य बहुधा किंचिद्भीताननो यता
nivṛttaśca kṣaṇādbhūyaḥ kiṃ vakṣyati harastviti | tato vimṛśya bahudhā kiṃcidbhītānano yatā
ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ചിരി ശമിച്ചു; വീണ്ടും അവർ ‘ഹരൻ എന്ത് പറയും?’ എന്നു ചിന്തിച്ചു. പിന്നെ പലവിധം ആലോചിച്ച്, അല്പം ഭീതിയുള്ള മുഖത്തോടെ (ഒരാൾ) സമീപിച്ചു.
