महेश्वर यथा साक्षादपरस्त्वं महेश्वरः । ततः स्मयन्महादेवो जयेति भुवने श्रुतः
maheśvara yathā sākṣādaparastvaṃ maheśvaraḥ | tataḥ smayanmahādevo jayeti bhuvane śrutaḥ
“ഹേ മഹേശ്വരാ! നീ സാക്ഷാൽ പരമൻ; നിന്നിൽ നിന്ന് ഭിന്നനായ മറ്റാരുമില്ല, ഹേ മഹേശ്വരാ.” തുടർന്ന് മഹാദേവൻ പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ ‘ജയ’ എന്നു ഉച്ചരിച്ചു—ആ നാദം സർവ്വഭുവനങ്ങളിലും കേട്ടു.
