शोचनीयतमा पूर्वमासीत्पार्वति कौमुदी । त्वं संवृत्ता द्वितीयासि तस्यास्तत्संगमाशया
śocanīyatamā pūrvamāsītpārvati kaumudī | tvaṃ saṃvṛttā dvitīyāsi tasyāstatsaṃgamāśayā
ഹേ പാർവതി, മുമ്പ് കൗമുദിയായിരുന്നു ഏറ്റവും കരുണാജനകയായത്; ഇപ്പോൾ അവനോടുള്ള സംഗമാശയാൽ നീ രണ്ടാമത്തെയായി മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു।
