येषामेवंविधाबुद्धिरस्माभिः किं कृतं त्विदम् । अथ वा नो न दोषोऽस्ति पशवो हि वयं यतः

yeṣāmevaṃvidhābuddhirasmābhiḥ kiṃ kṛtaṃ tvidam | atha vā no na doṣo'sti paśavo hi vayaṃ yataḥ

ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള ബുദ്ധിയുള്ള ഞങ്ങൾ എന്താണ് ‘ചെയ്തത്’ എന്ന് പറയാൻ കഴിയുമോ? അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ദോഷമില്ല—കാരണം ഞങ്ങൾ ഒടുവിൽ മൃഗങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ (വശപ്പെട്ട) ആകുന്നു.
