ऊचुश्चैनं चयो हन्यात्स म्रियेत ततस्त्वसौ । दृष्ट्वा कपालिनो रूपं गजचर्मांबरावृतम्

ūcuścainaṃ cayo hanyātsa mriyeta tatastvasau | dṛṣṭvā kapālino rūpaṃ gajacarmāṃbarāvṛtam

അവർ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഇവനെ പ്രഹരിക്കുന്നവൻ ഉടൻ തന്നെ മരിക്കും.” കാരണം കപാലധാരിയുടെ ആ രൂപം—ഗജചർമ്മാംബരം ധരിച്ചതു—കണ്ട് എല്ലാവരും ഭീതിയിലായി.
