प्रवेपमानेन मुखेन युज्यताचलेन गात्रेण च संभ्रमाकुलः । ततस्तु तस्यास्त्रवराभिमंत्रितः शरोर्धचंद्रः प्रसभं महारणे

pravepamānena mukhena yujyatācalena gātreṇa ca saṃbhramākulaḥ | tatastu tasyāstravarābhimaṃtritaḥ śarordhacaṃdraḥ prasabhaṃ mahāraṇe

അവന്റെ മുഖം വിറച്ചു, ശരീരം അസ്ഥിരമായി; ഭീതിയിൽ അവൻ കലങ്ങിപ്പോയി. അപ്പോൾ മഹായുദ്ധത്തിൽ മന്ത്രാഭിമന്ത്രിതമായ, അർദ്ധചന്ദ്രാകൃതിയിലുള്ള, ശ്രേഷ്ഠാസ്ത്രരൂപ ബാണം അവന്റെ നേരെ ശക്തിയായി പാഞ്ഞു.
