तदद्भुतं महद्दृष्ट्वा जगर्जुर्दैत्यसत्तमाः । नैतान्हर्षमदोद्धूतानिदं सेहे जगत्तदा

Transliteration

tadadbhutaṃ mahaddṛṣṭvā jagarjurdaityasattamāḥ | naitānharṣamadoddhūtānidaṃ sehe jagattadā

Translation

ആ മഹാദ്ഭുതം കണ്ടു ദൈത്യശ്രേഷ്ഠർ ഗർജിച്ചു. ഹർഷം, മദം, ഗർവ്വം എന്നിവാൽ ഉന്മത്തരായി അവർ സ്വയം നിയന്ത്രിക്കാനായില്ല; ആ നിമിഷം അവരുടെ ഉല്ലാസം ലോകം പോലും സഹിക്കാനാകാത്തതുപോലെ ആയി.
