तदप्रतर्क्यं नवहेतितुल्यं चक्रं पपात ग्रसनस्य कण्ठे । तद्रक्तधारा रुणघोरनाभि जगाम भूयोपि करं मुरारेः
tadapratarkyaṃ navahetitulyaṃ cakraṃ papāta grasanasya kaṇṭhe | tadraktadhārā ruṇaghoranābhi jagāma bhūyopi karaṃ murāreḥ
ആ അപ്രതർക്ക്യമായ, പുതുതായി മൂർച്ചപ്പെടുത്തിയ ആയുധംപോലെയുള്ള ചക്രം ഗ്രസനന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽ വീണു. രക്തധാര ഒഴുകിച്ചൊരിയുന്ന ഭീകരനാഭിയുള്ള സുദർശനം വീണ്ടും മുരാരിയുടെ കൈയിൽ തിരിച്ചെത്തി.
