जघ्नतुस्तौ रणे दैत्यमेकैकं षष्टिभिः शरैः । निर्भिद्य ते महादैत्यं सपुंखा विविशुर्महीम्
jaghnatustau raṇe daityamekaikaṃ ṣaṣṭibhiḥ śaraiḥ | nirbhidya te mahādaityaṃ sapuṃkhā viviśurmahīm
യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ആ രണ്ടുപേരും ദൈത്യനെ—ഓരോരുത്തനും അറുപത് അമ്പുകളാൽ—പ്രഹരിച്ചു. ആ അമ്പുകൾ മഹാദൈത്യനെ തുളച്ച്, പുങ്കങ്ങളോടുകൂടി, ഭൂമിയിൽ കുത്തിപ്പുകയറി।
