शस्त्रवृष्टिं ववर्षोग्रां देवनीकेषु दुर्जयः । तया वृष्ट्या पीड्यमाना दैत्यैरन्यैश्च देवताः
śastravṛṣṭiṃ vavarṣogrāṃ devanīkeṣu durjayaḥ | tayā vṛṣṭyā pīḍyamānā daityairanyaiśca devatāḥ
ജയിക്കാനാവാത്ത ആ അസുരൻ ദേവസേനയുടെ മേൽ ഉഗ്രമായ ആയുധവർഷം ചൊരിഞ്ഞു. ആ വർഷത്താലും മറ്റു ദൈത്യന്മാരാലും പീഡിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട് ദേവന്മാർ വലഞ്ഞു.
