दैत्येंद्रो राक्षसेन्द्रेण क्षितिकंपेनगो यथा । स सुहूर्तात्समाश्वास्य मत्वा तं दुर्जयं रणे
daityeṃdro rākṣasendreṇa kṣitikaṃpenago yathā | sa suhūrtātsamāśvāsya matvā taṃ durjayaṃ raṇe
രാക്ഷസേന്ദ്രന്റെ പ്രഹാരത്തിൽ ദൈത്യേന്ദ്രൻ ഭൂകമ്പത്തിൽ കുലുങ്ങുന്ന പർവ്വതംപോലെ നടുങ്ങി. അല്പനേരംകൊണ്ട് ശ്വാസം വീണ്ടെടുത്തു, അവനെ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ദുര്ജയനെന്ന് കരുതി.
