Transliteration

jaghāna nirṛtirdevastamasā saṃvṛtā bhṛśam | hanyamāneṣu daityeṣu kujaṃbhe mūḍhacetasi

Translation

ഘോര തമസ്സാൽ എല്ലാം മൂടപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ദേവശക്തിയായ നിരൃതി ശക്തമായി പ്രഹരിച്ചു. ദൈത്യർ വധിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോഴും കുജംഭന്റെ മനസ്സ് മൂടലിലായിരുന്നു.
