तामापतंतीं संप्रेक्ष्य गदां महिषवाहनः । गदायाः प्रतिघातार्थं जगज्ज्वलनभैरवम्
Transliteration
tāmāpataṃtīṃ saṃprekṣya gadāṃ mahiṣavāhanaḥ | gadāyāḥ pratighātārthaṃ jagajjvalanabhairavam
Translation
ആ ഗദ തനിക്കു നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുവരുന്നതു കണ്ട മഹിഷവാഹനായ യമൻ, അതിന്റെ പ്രഹാരം തടയാൻ ലോകം കത്തുന്നതുപോലെ ഭയാനകമായ ജ്വാലാതേജം ഒരുക്കി।
