आहारमिच्छन्स्वां भार्यां न ददर्शाश्रमे स्वके । भार्याहीनोऽफलश्चेति स संचिंत्य इतस्ततः
āhāramicchansvāṃ bhāryāṃ na dadarśāśrame svake | bhāryāhīno'phalaśceti sa saṃciṃtya itastataḥ
ആഹാരം തേടി അവൻ തന്റെ ആശ്രമത്തിൽ തന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ കണ്ടില്ല. ‘ഭാര്യയില്ലെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ നിഷ്ഫലൻ’ എന്നു വിചാരിച്ച് അവൻ ഇങ്ങും അങ്ങും വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ആലോചിച്ചു.
