इत्युक्तो नकुलः क्रुद्धः स हि क्रुद्धः पुराऽभवत् । जमदग्नेः पूर्वजैश्च शप्तः प्रोवाच तं मुनिम्

ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ നകുലൻ ക്രുദ്ധനായി; അവൻ മുമ്പും ക്രുദ്ധനായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ. ജമദഗ്നിയുടെ പൂർവ്വജന്മാർ ശപിച്ചതിനാൽ അവൻ ആ മുനിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
