ya idaṃ śatarudrīyaṃ prātaḥprātaḥ paṭhiṣyati | tasya prītaḥ śivo devaḥ pradāsyatyakhilānvarān
ആര് പ്രഭാതംപ്രഭാതം ഈ ശതരുദ്രീയം പാരായണം ചെയ്യുമോ, അവനോട് പ്രസന്നനായ ദേവന് ശിവന് എല്ലാ വരങ്ങളും അനുദാനം ചെയ്യും।
