श्रृण्वन्निमामपि कथां नृपते मनुष्यः सुश्रद्धया भवति पापविमुक्तदेहः । शंभोः प्रसादमभिगम्य यथायुरेवमासीत्प्रसादत इयं मम कूर्मता च
śrṛṇvannimāmapi kathāṃ nṛpate manuṣyaḥ suśraddhayā bhavati pāpavimuktadehaḥ | śaṃbhoḥ prasādamabhigamya yathāyurevamāsītprasādata iyaṃ mama kūrmatā ca
ഹേ നൃപതേ, ഈ കഥയെ സത്യശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേൾക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ ദേഹത്തോടുകൂടി പാപമുക്തനാകുന്നു. ശംഭുവിന്റെ പ്രസാദം ലഭിച്ചാൽ ആയുസ്സ് യഥാവിധി സ്ഥിരവും സഫലവും ആകുന്നു; ആ കൃപയാൽ തന്നെയാണ് എന്റെ ഈ ‘കൂർമത്വം’ പോലും ഉണ്ടായത്।
