yā bāṃdhavaiḥ pradattā syādvahnidvijasamāgame | gārhasthyapālanaṃ dhanyaṃ tayā sākaṃ hi sarvadam

ബന്ധുക്കൾ പവിത്ര അഗ്നിയുടെയും ദ്വിജന്മാരുടെയും സന്നിധിയിൽ നൽകിയ ഭാര്യയോടൊപ്പം ഗാർഹസ്ഥധർമ്മം പാലിക്കൽ ധന്യമാണ്; അത്തരം പത്നിയോടെ അത് സർവസമ്പദ്‌ദായകമാകുന്നു।
