अणुस्ते करुणापात्रं महत्त्वं ध्रुवमश्नुते । नाधिकोऽस्ति परस्त्वत्तो न मत्तोऽपि तदाश्रयात्
aṇuste karuṇāpātraṃ mahattvaṃ dhruvamaśnute | nādhiko'sti parastvatto na matto'pi tadāśrayāt
അണുവോളം ചെറുതായാലും നിന്റെ കരുണയുടെ പാത്രമായാൽ അവൻ നിശ്ചയമായി മഹത്ത്വം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു. നിന്നേക്കാൾ ഉയർന്നവൻ ആരുമില്ല; ആ ആശ്രയത്താൽ ഞാനും ഉയർന്നവൻ അല്ല।
