കുബേരന്റെ വടക്കുദിശയിൽ, ഏകദശനിൽ നിന്ന് അപ്പുറം ‘സിംഹതുണ്ട’ വിനായകൻ ഉണ്ട്. അദ്ദേഹം വാരാണസിവാസികളുടെ ഉപസർഗ്ഗരൂപ ഗജങ്ങളെ—ഭാരമുള്ള ദുരിതങ്ങളെ—നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു।
