रुदन्स उत्तानशयो ब्रह्मणो मुखमैक्षत । ततो ब्रह्मापि तं बालं रुदंतं प्रविलोक्य च

കരഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ആ ശിശു പുറംചായ്ന്നുകിടന്ന് ബ്രഹ്മാവിന്റെ മുഖത്തേക്ക് നോക്കി. പിന്നെ ബ്രഹ്മാവും ആ കരയുന്ന ബാലനെ കണ്ടു അവനിലേക്കു ദൃഷ്ടി പതിപ്പിച്ചു।
