न प्रायशस्तपस्व्येष क्व तपः क्वास्त्रधारणम् । न गृहस्थेषु गण्योसौ श्मशाननिलयो यतः
na prāyaśastapasvyeṣa kva tapaḥ kvāstradhāraṇam | na gṛhastheṣu gaṇyosau śmaśānanilayo yataḥ
ഇവൻ പ്രായശഃ തപസ്വിയല്ല—എവിടെ തപസ്സ്, എവിടെ ആയുധധാരണം? ഗൃഹസ്ഥരിലുമവൻ എണ്ണപ്പെടുന്നില്ല; കാരണം അവന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലം ശ്മശാനമാണ്.
