भौमाष्टम्यां तत्र नरः स्नात्वा संतर्पयेत्पितॄन् । दृष्ट्वा च भैरवं कालं कलिं कालं च संजयेत्

bhaumāṣṭamyāṃ tatra naraḥ snātvā saṃtarpayetpitṝn | dṛṣṭvā ca bhairavaṃ kālaṃ kaliṃ kālaṃ ca saṃjayet

ഭൗമാഷ്ടമിദിനത്തിൽ അവിടെ മനുഷ്യൻ സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് പിതൃകൾക്ക് തർപ്പണം ചെയ്യണം. കാലസ്വരൂപനായ ഭൈരവനെ ദർശിച്ചാൽ അവൻ കലിയെയും ജയിച്ച് കാലത്തെയും ജയിക്കുന്നു.
