विष्ण्वंश एवमुत्पन्नो मम भक्तिपरांगज । वीरवीरेश्वरं नाम लिंगमेतत्त्वदाख्यया
viṣṇvaṃśa evamutpanno mama bhaktiparāṃgaja | vīravīreśvaraṃ nāma liṃgametattvadākhyayā
എന്നോടുള്ള ഭക്തിയിൽ പരായണനായ പുത്രാ! നീ ഇങ്ങനെ വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ അംശമായി ജനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. നിന്റെ പേരുതന്നെ ധരിച്ചു ഈ ലിംഗം ‘വീര-വീരേശ്വര’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടും.
