महेश्वर उवाच । निशामय महादेवि वीरेशाविर्भवं परम् । यं श्रुत्वापि नरः पुण्यं प्राप्नोति विपुलं शिवे
maheśvara uvāca | niśāmaya mahādevi vīreśāvirbhavaṃ param | yaṃ śrutvāpi naraḥ puṇyaṃ prāpnoti vipulaṃ śive
മഹേശ്വരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ മഹാദേവീ, വീരേശന്റെ പരമ ആവിർഭാവവൃത്താന്തം കേൾക്കുക. ഹേ ശിവേ, ഇത് കേട്ടാൽ മാത്രം മനുഷ്യൻ മഹത്തായ പുണ്യം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
