अभूम भूरिशः शंभो न क्वापि स्थैर्यमागताः । इतोयोनेस्ततो योनौ ततो योनेस्ततोन्यतः

Transliteration

abhūma bhūriśaḥ śaṃbho na kvāpi sthairyamāgatāḥ | itoyonestato yonau tato yonestatonyataḥ

Translation

ഓ ശംഭോ! ഞങ്ങൾ അനവധി രീതിയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും എവിടെയും സ്ഥിരത ലഭിച്ചില്ല. ഒരു യോനിയിൽ നിന്ന് മറ്റൊരു യോനിയിലേക്ക്, പിന്നെയും മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്ക് എന്നിങ്ങനെ ജന്മാന്തരങ്ങൾ അലയുകയായിരുന്നു.
