idaṃ tīrthaṃ harapāpaṃ saptajanmāghanāśanam | gaṃgāyāṃ militaṃ paścājjanmakoṭikṛtāghaham

Translation

ഈ ഹരപാപ തീർത്ഥം ഏഴ് ജന്മങ്ങളിലെ പാപങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെ ഗംഗയിൽ ലയിച്ചാൽ കോടി ജന്മങ്ങളിലെ സമ്പാദിത പാപങ്ങളെയും ഇല്ലാതാക്കുന്നു।
