अथ पत्न्या कलरवः प्रोक्तस्तत्र सुमेधया । वचोवमानितं नाथ त्वया मे स्त्रीति बुद्धितः
atha patnyā kalaravaḥ proktastatra sumedhayā | vacovamānitaṃ nātha tvayā me strīti buddhitaḥ
അപ്പോൾ അവിടെ വെച്ച് ആ ബുദ്ധിമതിയായ ഭാര്യ ഭർത്താവിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു: 'നാഥാ, ഇവളൊരു സ്ത്രീയാണ് എന്ന് കരുതി അങ്ങ് എന്റെ വാക്കുകളെ അവഗണിച്ചു.'
