कलरव्युवाच । प्रिय पारावत प्राज्ञ सर्वकामि सुखारव । तव दृग्विषयं प्राप्तः श्येनोय प्रबलो रिपुः
kalaravyuvāca | priya pārāvata prājña sarvakāmi sukhārava | tava dṛgviṣayaṃ prāptaḥ śyenoya prabalo ripuḥ
കലരവാ പറഞ്ഞു—പ്രിയ പാരാവതാ! പ്രാജ്ഞനേ, മധുരസ്വരനേ, സർവകാമപ്രദനേ! ഈ പ്രബലനായ ശത്രു ശ്യേനൻ നിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടിഗോചരത്തിൽ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു।
