न जाने त्वथ किं वृत्तं काहं क्वाहं स चाथ कः । तं निर्जिगमिषुं सख्यो यावद्धर्तुं प्रसारितः

na jāne tvatha kiṃ vṛttaṃ kāhaṃ kvāhaṃ sa cātha kaḥ | taṃ nirjigamiṣuṃ sakhyo yāvaddhartuṃ prasāritaḥ

അപ്പോൾ എന്താണ് സംഭവിച്ചതെന്ന് എനിക്ക് അറിയില്ലായിരുന്നു—ഞാൻ ആരാണ്, എവിടെയാണ്, അവൻ ആരാണ് എന്നും. സഖികളേ, അവൻ പോകാൻ ഒരുങ്ങുമ്പോൾ തടയാൻ ഞാൻ കൈ നീട്ടി।
