itihāsamimaṃ śrutvā nārī vā puruṣopivā | na jātviṣṭaviyogāgni tāpena paritapyate

Translation

ഈ ഇതിഹാസം ശ്രവിച്ചാൽ—സ്ത്രീയോ പുരുഷനോ—പ്രിയവിയോഗാഗ്നിയുടെ താപത്തിൽ ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും ദഹിക്കുകയില്ല।
