यदा प्रभृति सा गौरी निर्गता मम सद्मतः । मन्ये मेने तदारभ्य पद्मसद्मा विनिर्ययौ
yadā prabhṛti sā gaurī nirgatā mama sadmataḥ | manye mene tadārabhya padmasadmā viniryayau
ഗൗരീ എന്റെ ഭവനത്തിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട നിമിഷം മുതൽ തന്നെ, അന്നുമുതൽ എന്റെ ഹൃദയസുഖത്തിന്റെ ‘പദ്മ-ധാമം’ പോലും സ്വയം പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയതുപോലെ എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നു; അവളുടെ വിരഹം എല്ലാം ശൂന്യമാക്കി।
