स च दुंदुभिनिर्ह्राद दैत्येंद्रो बलदर्पितः । व्याघ्र रूपं समास्थाय तमादातुं मतिं दधे
sa ca duṃdubhinirhrāda daityeṃdro baladarpitaḥ | vyāghra rūpaṃ samāsthāya tamādātuṃ matiṃ dadhe
അപ്പോൾ ദുന്ദുഭിനിർഹ്രാദൻ എന്ന ദൈത്യേന്ദ്രൻ, ബലദർപ്പത്തിൽ മത്തനായി, വ്യാഘ്രരൂപം ധരിച്ചു അവനെ പിടിക്കുവാൻ നിശ്ചയിച്ചു.
