udagdaśāśvamedhānmāṃ prayāgākhyaṃ ca mādhavam | prayāgatīrthe susnāto dṛṣṭvā pāpaiḥ pramucyate

വടക്കുദിക്കിൽ ദശാശ്വമേധത്തിന് അപ്പുറം എന്നെ ‘പ്രയാഗ’ എന്ന നാമമുള്ള മാധവനായി അറിയുക. പ്രയാഗതീർത്ഥത്തിൽ നന്നായി സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് എന്നെ ദർശിച്ചാൽ പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് മോചനം ലഭിക്കും।
