Agnibiṃdu
Tirtha: Pañcanadā (contextual)
Type: sangam
Listener: Hṛṣīkeśa/Govinda (addressed deity); Sūta relays to the ṛṣis (frame)
Scene: Agnibiṃdu recites with raised voice and steady posture; Govinda appears as Pundarīkākṣa with lotus eyes, while a subtle overlay of the cosmic form (many heads/eyes/feet) radiates behind the icon.
The Lord purifies both outer conduct and inner intention; meditation on His cosmic form elevates the devotee’s vision.
The hymn is offered in the Kāśī setting, near Pañcanadā, within Kāśīkhaṇḍa.
Japa-like salutation begins with Oṁ and namaḥ; the verse models a devotional invocation.
