arka uvāca | tiṣṭhānūro mama rathe sadaiva vinatātmaja | jagatāṃ ca hitārthāya dhvāṃtaṃ vidhvaṃsayanpuraḥ

Translation

അർക്കൻ (സൂര്യൻ) പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ വിനതാപുത്ര അരുണാ! നീ എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ രഥത്തിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുക; ലോകങ്ങളുടെ ഹിതത്തിനായി എന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള അന്ധകാരം നശിപ്പിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക.
