अगस्तिरुवाच । जानन्न पि गुणान्देवि क्षेत्रस्यास्य परान्द्विजः । नाना प्रमाणैः प्रवणो निरगात्स तथाप्यहो
agastiruvāca | jānanna pi guṇāndevi kṣetrasyāsya parāndvijaḥ | nānā pramāṇaiḥ pravaṇo niragātsa tathāpyaho
അഗസ്ത്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ദേവീ, ആ ദ്വിജൻ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ പരമ ഗുണങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും, പല പ്രമാണങ്ങളാൽ അനുകൂലനായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും, എന്നിട്ടും—അയ്യോ—അവൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോയി.
