श्रुतिभिः परिपठ्येते सिताऽसित सरिद्वरे । तत्राप्लुतां गाह्यमृतं भवंतीति विनिश्चितम्

Transliteration

śrutibhiḥ paripaṭhyete sitā'sita saridvare | tatrāplutāṃ gāhyamṛtaṃ bhavaṃtīti viniścitam

Translation

ശ്രുതികൾ തന്നേ ആ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ നദികളെ ‘ശ്വേത’ ‘ശ്യാമ’ എന്നു പാരായണം ചെയ്യുന്നു. അവിടെ സ്നാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവർ അമൃതസമമായ അമരത്വം പ്രാപിക്കും എന്നു നിശ്ചയം.
