श्रुत्वेति गरुडः प्राह मातरं सत्वरं व्रज । पृच्छाद्य मातस्तान्दुष्टान्काद्रवेयानिदं वचः
śrutveti garuḍaḥ prāha mātaraṃ satvaraṃ vraja | pṛcchādya mātastānduṣṭānkādraveyānidaṃ vacaḥ
ഇതു കേട്ട ഗരുഡൻ അമ്മയോട് പറഞ്ഞു—വേഗം പോകൂ. ഇന്ന്, അമ്മേ, ആ ദുഷ്ട കാദ്രവേയരോട് (സർപ്പങ്ങളോട്) ഈ വാക്ക് ചോദിക്കൂ.
